Heavy contract for 30gwh production expansion project of Wuhan base of CALB

On May 11, the Hubei new energy and intelligent networked automobile industry development matchmaking meeting was held in Wuhan. At the meeting, CALB signed a heavy contract with Wuhan Economic Development Zone on the 30gwh power and energy storage battery expansion project of Wuhan base. So far, the planned capacity of the Wuhan base project of CALB has reached 50gwh, which also marks a solid step in the construction of industrial clusters in the central region of the company.

At present, it has entered the stage of equipment moving in, creating "Wuhan speed" and "new AVIC speed". The planned capacity of the first phase of the Wuhan base project of CALB is 20gwh. The main plant was capped in March this year and is being rapidly promoted as planned. The total investment of the contracted expansion project is 12billion yuan, and the planned production capacity is 30gwh. The company improves the utilization rate of land resources to the utmost, maximizes the production capacity per unit land area with the industry-leading level, and makes every effort to build a global leading green and intelligent benchmark factory.
